Privacy Policy
Effective July 20, 2026. This Policy describes how PostGlint handles personal information when you use our websites and workspace.
01
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how PostGlint collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit postglint.com, create an account at accounts.postglint.com, or use the PostGlint brand workspace at brand.postglint.com (together, the “Service”).
By registering for or using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02
Who is responsible for your data
PostGlint is the controller of personal information processed through the Service. Questions about this Policy may be sent to [email protected].
03
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information generated through your use of the Service, and information from third parties you connect.
- Account and profile details, such as your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), time zone, and workspace preferences.
- Brand information, including brand name, industry selections, and settings you configure.
- Content you create or upload, including post drafts, captions, hashtags, media files, schedules, and AI prompts or refinements.
- Billing-related identifiers. Subscription checkout and payment processing are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. We receive subscription status, plan tier, transaction references, and limited billing metadata from Dodo Payments. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
- Social account connection data. When you connect LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, or other supported platforms, we receive OAuth tokens, account identifiers, display names, and permissions needed to publish content and retrieve engagement metrics on your behalf.
- Usage and device data, including log files, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, feature usage, error reports, and security signals.
- Communications you send us, such as support requests, contact form messages, and feedback.
04
How we use information
We use personal information to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Specific purposes include:
- Creating and administering your account and brand workspace.
- Generating, editing, scheduling, and publishing social content at your direction.
- Enforcing plan allowances, metering AI usage, and displaying billing status.
- Syncing performance metrics from connected social platforms and presenting reports inside the Service.
- Sending transactional messages (verification, password reset, billing receipts, security alerts) and, where permitted, product updates.
- Detecting abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
- Complying with law, responding to lawful requests, and establishing or defending legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private post drafts or connected social content to train public AI models for unrelated products.
05
AI processing
PostGlint offers AI-assisted caption, hashtag, image, and (on eligible plans) video generation. To provide these features, we transmit relevant portions of your prompts, brand context, and associated content to third-party AI infrastructure providers, including Google cloud AI services. Those providers process data under their own terms and security commitments.
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your audience. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated material before publishing. Do not rely on AI output as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
07
International transfers
PostGlint may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including locations where our subprocessors operate. When we transfer personal information internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms required by applicable law.
09
How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records longer where required for billing, tax, audit, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
When you delete your account, we begin removing or anonymizing personal information within a reasonable period, except for data we must keep by law or legitimate business need (for example, invoice records handled through Dodo Payments). Backups may persist for a limited time before being overwritten.
10
Security
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and notifying us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
11
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- Access or update account details in your profile settings.
- Disconnect social accounts from the Connected Accounts page.
- Request account deletion from account settings. Deletion is scheduled after a cooling-off period and cancels active subscriptions where applicable.
- Opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us.
Where required by privacy laws that apply to you, you may have additional rights, such as requesting details about categories of data we hold, asking for deletion, or objecting to certain processing. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise rights not available in self-service settings, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to verify your identity. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
12
Children
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or at least 16 where local law allows use with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
